Difference between high-pressure suspension roller mill and Raymond mill?

In the market, the most widely used pulverizers in the mining industry on the market are Raymond mill and high-pressure suspension roller mill. What is the difference between these two types of pulverizers?

The high-pressure suspension roller mill is an upgraded version of the Raymond mill. Under the same power conditions, the output of the high-pressure suspension roller mill is 10%-20% higher than that of the ordinary Raymond mill, and the fineness of the ground material is finer and the dust is less.

The working principle of the high-pressure suspension roller mill is similar to that of the Raymond mill, but the grinding device is equipped with a high-pressure spring with a pressure of 1000-1500 kg.

When the machine is working, under the action of high-pressure spring and centrifugal force, the grinding roller rolls in close contact with the grinding ring, and its rolling pressure is 1.2 times higher than that of the Raymond mill under the same conditions, and the output can be increased by 20%-30%; After the grinding roller and the grinding ring reach a certain amount of wear, adjust the length of the high-pressure spring to maintain a constant grinding pressure between the grinding roller and the grinding ring, so as to ensure a stable output and fineness.

The appearance of the Raymond mill and the high-pressure suspension roller mill is actually the same, mainly due to the difference in the particle size and output of their feed and discharge.

Compared with the Raymond mill, the high-pressure suspension roller mill has some improvements in all aspects. The main reason for these improvements is that the high-pressure suspension roller mill has an extra set of high-pressure springs than the Raymond mill, so the performance of the suspension roller mill in all aspects is relatively a little better.

In terms of feed particle size, the difference between the two is generally between 15-35 mm; the particle size of the finished product is between 0.044-0.165 mm for Raymond mill, and between 0.033-0.613 mm for high-pressure suspension roller mill; for output, suspension roller mill It has more spring pressure than Raymond mill, so the output is larger than Raymond mill.

The working principle of the two mills is basically the same. Both the grinding roller and the grinding ring squeeze the grinding material. The advantage of the high-pressure suspension roller mill is that the pressure of the spring can be adjusted to make the grinding roller and the grinding ring wear at a certain level. After that, the fine powder can still be processed without affecting the output and fineness, so the suspension roller mill is more durable.
